Youth Advisory Board

Our Youth Advisory Board is a group of motivated high school students who provide 826 Seattle with a student’s perspective on programs, while also serving as mentors and positive examples for other students in the 826 Seattle community. Not to mention we often do all of this while enjoying a slice of pizza.

We are no longer accepting applications for the Youth Advisory Board for this school year. We will start recruiting for the 2010-2011 school year during June/July of 2010.

He lives in an old, small, elevated gray house in Wallingford (which is effectively every house in Wallingford) where he can be found writing at his desk, reading on his bed, or playing guitar in an empty bedroom’s closet (where the acoustics are louder and his singing voice sounds more manly).

A lot of times I’ll come to 826 even though I don’t have homework I actually need help with. That probably says something. They used to give me pizza, they don’t anymore, but I still go. That says something, too.”
